The AxisWorks +2 AICS style mag base is built from Billet 6061-T6 aluminum. It utilizes (4) 8-32 x 5/16 long stainless steel set screws for attachment to the base of the ACIS style magazine. There are (2) holes located in the bottom of the mag base to allow the magazine spring to be compressed for easy removal of the base to allow cleaning and maintenance. The base is finished in type 3 hard anodize for maximum abrasion resistance and easy cleaning.
